Fabricated from stainless steel, these springs featured dimensions of 1.450" in length x 0.135" I.D. Our high speed compression spring machine allowed fast throughput speeds while holding tolerances to ±0.05". Passivation in compliance with ASTM A967-96 Nitric 2 removed all surface contaminants and resulted in the desired low corrosion rate of the metal.

In process visual inspections in addition to micrometer measurements validated that we satisfied the requirements of the customer specification. Current production of this component is at the rate of 320,000 annually.
